greetings watts tribe,
i just watched werner herzog's film "wild blue yonder" , and it reminded me of one of Watts incredible lectures,
which in his humorous and at times annoyed style ... was poking fun at the (military) exploration of space.
I have vague memories about it , but essentially it was describing it like shooting a big penis out into space, and questions
the external quest vs. inner exploration.
does anyone remember this lecture , and/or any views about space exploration??
I am writing an blog and articles on the SF Film festival currently running...and would be fun to include this reference as it has some
interesting parallels to this new Herzog venture, which is mesmerizing , deep and expands on his new directions of humor.
btw , if you'd like a few tips and/ or odd rants about the festival films, check my tribe plog.
