you can only have a 'here' when there is also a 'there.' if you're talking about the energetic ground of all being and non-being, i don't think the question makes sense because i would presume it resists localization.

human consciousness is what happens when the universe/god/self chooses to forget what it knows about how it got here. but what it knows is that it was always everywhere, and that's why it chose to forget: for kicks.

(side note on synchronicity: as I was typing this post my iTunes, which is currently set to play all my mp3s in alphabetical order, just began playing Watts speaking.)

You can break the concept down by thinking everything just is. No good or bad. Everything
just is. What hangs most people up is that they get caught up in responding to this or that situation. In responding, they lose that is-ness or nowness of the moment.

The universe is what you see--it is a dewdrop on a leaf, the howl of a coyote. By trying to determine the hows of the universe, you miss totally the acceptance.

Have you ever listened to any Ram Dass tapes--very much in the now.

steph. love the syncronicity. + thanks for your words. sometimes i forget .-----------j;--)

kate. i agree. there is no "right" or "wrong". alan has shown me this. he has also shown me that there has to be a wrong for there to be a right.-----------------j;---)

i never have listened to any Ram Dass tapes. hope i will find some mp3's on the web. i do have "be here now". it's a recurring line in my procession of "thoughts"

      blessings.
